Through GiamBattista Vico Cenere Muto wants to create an opera in which the form, the signifier, replace the sense, the signified. GiamBattista Vico follow a structure which is a historical development, a linguistic development, a personal development, all together. GiamBattista Vico is splitted in five parts, but it is at the same time a unique piece, in which every parts flow into the others. It is a stream, which involves italian language, linguistic and culture and the development of conteporary music, through some of its hot-spots. All these reflections are taken from a very personal point of view, which is at the same time universal and limited. A diachronic vision from a specific point, with the conscience that the duality between limited and universal, personal and historical, is always there and we can unhinge it in both directions.
